Good steakhouse. Can't believe the amount of lobster in the Lobster Mac and Cheese! Definitely order the fillet steak.
Incredible service from the moment we arrived and were seated.A wide variety of food is available and dishes to suit all tastes. Our waitress was fabulous too, attentive and polite and even wished me a Happy Birthday.A mention should be made of the Gluten Free menu which in terms of Main Courses cannot be faulted; however the dessert choices were very limited. My partner is a coeliac and this lack of choice when it came to pudding slightly took away from the experience.
Good service from the waitress service. But didn't like being cramped into one small area to eat when it's a larger establishment just because not many customers are in that evening. The cocktails need improving. And steaks need to be cooked to the customers requirement not theirs. Standards are falling.
Lovely steak - asked for medium & was perhaps a little rare but was beautiful & tender. Staff helpful & had reserved a table near the door as I had mentioned I had walking difficulties when I booked. Starter was lovely too - mushrooms in cheese sauce tho a few more mushrooms would have been good. Did wonder if it was smaller portions because it was off the Jan set menu.
I thought I knew steak, but I was proved wrong. The meat is otherworldly and cooked to perfection, however you like it. I had mine rare and it was juicy, flavoursome perfection. The desserts were beautiful too. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
