Fantastic value on a Thursday and Friday for 20 you can get a steak and a bottle of wine for two. But it is really busy on a Friday and Saturday and they have one area closed which is really silly as me and my husband had to sit at a table for six instead of a smaller table.
Frequently dining at Haywain and it is always exceptional. Great food and friendly staff.
Chef is great.... lovely food. Young lad on bar needs his attitude changing.... he pulled half a pint of diet coke and left at least 4cm off the top .. I asked for it to be topped up like the rest and he huffed and puffed.
Third time we've been, but the first time we've had an issue! Walked in to find that the table we had reserved had been taken by someone that hadn't booked, but was quickly resolved! The food was lovely, but have had better in the past. Staff are lovely & more than happy to help! Each time we've been, it's been very busy, so taken this into consideration is why I've given 5 stars!
Good wholesome food at reasonable cost. A few good tasty ales and the usual lagers. The girls also enjoy the wines. All in all good food, service, prices and drinks well worth 5 stars.
